OSHA 10 General Industry certification is a voluntary safety training program provided by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) that covers basic workplace safety and health topics relevant to general industry workers, providing them with 10 hours of training on hazard recognition, prevention, and employee rights within a typical workplace setting; essentially demonstrating a basic understanding of workplace safety procedures across various industries.

Topics covered include:

• Walking and working surfaces (including fall protection)
• Emergency action plans
• Electrical safety
• Personal protective equipment (PPE)

This certification is often required for entry-level employees in various industries who need basic safety knowledge. Upon successful completion, individuals receive an "OSHA 10" card verifying their completion of the training.
